FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to method of making thin uniform coatings on razor edges. Proposed method comprises the stage whereat at least one razor edge coated with polymer material is subjected to isostatic pressing. Said isostatic pressing may be either hot isostatic pressing or cold isostatic pressing.
EFFECT: coating depth of 10-100 nm, uniform surface morphology and zero porosity.
