FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: wood wastes are dried and heated to temperature of 250-350°C. The heated wood wastes are fed into a pyrolysis chamber where temperature rises to 700°C. The obtained charcoal is fed into a gas-generation chamber where it undergoes steam reforming at temperature of 700-1000°C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain synthesis gas with high degree of purity which does not require further purification.
