FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for pressure relief to atmosphere when inside pressure for example of oil transformers or switches of stages of transformer windings increases. The pressure relief valve includes flange (1) of the housing, hole (2) connected to volume of the transformer or the switch of stages of transformer windings. Flange (1) of the housing in a stationary state is closed by valve cover plate (4). Force of springs (13, 14) acts on cover plate (4) in the closing direction. Between hole (2) of the housing flange (1) and the valve cover plate (4) there is oil-nonpermeable circumferential seal (5). In addition, a provision is made for fixed circumferential working edge (28) of the seal, which is elastically adjacent to downward bent shell-shaped edge area (29) of the valve cover plate (4). Working edge (28) of the seal has at least one hole disturbing complete tightness. Therefore, oil that remains after preceding actuations in annular space between the seal and additional working edge (28) of the seal can flow downwards without any disturbance of the valve serviceability.

EFFECT: improving valve actuation reliability even at its multiple subsequent repetition at short intervals.
