FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: volume gas-liquid double-phase flow metre (10) measures flow of total gas-liquid flow (Qm) in a gas-liquid double-phase flow, including liquid and gas, and a coefficient of proportionality (gas share (b)) of gas flow in respect to the flow of total gas-liquid flow, and also calculates appropriate flows of gas and liquid, based on the flow of the total gas-liquid flow (QM) and gas share (b). The volume gas-liquid double-phase flow metre (10) is equipped with a measurement chamber (16) of flow volume for measurement of flow rate of a total gas-liquid flow (Qm) and a gas-liquid mixing chamber (14) for mixing of liquid and gas in a gas liquid double-phase flow to a measurement chamber (16) of flow volume. At the same time they simultaneously measure the angular speed of the rotor arranged inside the measurement chamber of the flow volume, and the difference of pressures upstream the gas-liquid mixing chamber and the point downstream the measurement chamber of flow volume, and on the basis of the measured values of angular speed and difference of pressures they calculate the values of the total gas-liquid flow and coefficient of proportionality of the gas flow.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of flow rates in a wide range of flow rates, elimination of impact from various flow arrangements.
