FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining carbon dioxide for the production of calcinated soda by the ammonia method. Waste gases of cement production containing 16-22% by volume of carbon dioxide are concentrated by absorption-desorption with aqueous solutions of monoethanolamine and monoethanolbenzylamine in a molar ratio of 1-3:1, or monoethanoldimethylamine and ethylenediamine in a molar ratio of 3:1, or a mixture of them under a pressure of 0.1-1.6 Mpa and at a temperature from 50-132°С to minus 25-45°С. The resulting carbon dioxide, with a content of at least 50% by volume, is mixed with a gas containing 35-38% by volume of carbon dioxide obtained by roasting limestone containing at least 90% by volume of calcium carbonate. As a result, carbon dioxide with a content of at least 40-44% by volume is obtained.
EFFECT: development of a method for producing carbon dioxide used in the production of calcinated soda from waste gases of cement production and thermal power plants, increasing the concentration of СО2 and its quality, reducing energy costs.
