FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: box for smoking materials includes an internal flap and an external flap; the internal flap of the above box forms a cavity for smoking materials, and the external flap forms a seat to place the internal flap into it, and the internal and external flaps are hinged so that they are turned relative to each other between a closed position, where the internal flap is put into the external flap, and an open position, where the internal flap projects out of the external flap; with that, the external flap includes a side wall that is overlapped with the side wall of the internal flap when the internal and the external flaps are in the closed position, in the side wall out of one of the internal or external flaps there formed is a projection forming a cavity in that side wall, and a tongue projects out of the corresponding side wall of the internal or external flaps so that its free end projecting from the corresponding side wall touches the side wall in which a cavity is formed, when the internal and external flaps are turned to the closed position; and the tongue is arranged above the projection and gets due to spring loading into the above cavity when the closed position is achieved; with that, the internal flap or the external flap includes an end wall having a valve attached to the side wall surface, and the projection is formed with the valve edge and the side wall surface, to which it is attached.

EFFECT: creation of a box for smoking materials with reliable fixation of an internal flap in an external flap in a closed position.
