FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed unit comprises sealed housing with contaminated fluid feed pipe and cleaned water discharge pipe. Besides it comprises intake chamber wit distribution board, distribution perforated baffle and settling chamber, all arranged inside housing. Thin-layer blocks with inclined plates are arranged over the length of said settling chamber, cleaned water discharge chamber and device to collect and to remove supernatant oil products and settled contaminants and to collect the slime. Besides, oil separator-settler is equipped with filtration chamber arranged between settling chamber and cleaned water discharge chamber with filter elements arranged in rows along the chamber to overlap its cross-section and made of filtration filler. The latter represents the recoverable material. Filter elements are arranged to be displaced by filter elements drive composed of guides and detachable ties secured at filter elements.

EFFECT: higher quality of water treatment.
