FIELD: cleaning oil-containing water; oil refining, petrochemical and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed pressure oil separator has hermetic housing with supply and discharge branch pipes, dirt receivers with sediment flushing system. Arranged inside housing are distributing grate and thin-layer blocks with plates mounted at angle. Housing is provided with adjustable distributing board mounted after water supply branch pipe , baffles to avoid bypass of water and guides for mounting, moving and locking the blocks. Baffles are mounted above and under blocks. Blocks are provided with step bearings mounted on guides and made from several modules. Plates of blocks are provided with connecting devices. Units are made in form of wave connected with previous plate by overlap. Cover of upper part of housing is inclined towards discharge branch pipe; contaminant receiver is located near supply branch pipe. Sediment flushing system is made in form of nozzles mounted at adjustable angle of inclination towards surface of device; distributing grate may be removed from housing.
