FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder-piston assy comprises piston with compression and scraper rings in contact with cylinder liner surface 4. Said cylinder liner 4 has grooves 6, 7 filled with nonferrous metal. Cylinder liner working surface has grooves 6 made at maximum wear points and shaped to opposed sinusoids. Two grooves 7 shaped to opposed closed separated rings inclined to liner diametral plane at 17 degrees are made at cylinder liner mid part 13 mm from extreme points of said top and bottom sinusoids. Distance from the origin of first sinusoidal grooves 6 to liner top edge makes 10±0.5 mm. Cross-section of grooves 6, 7 features depth and width of 1.5 mm.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, uniform liner height wear.
