FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine sleeve assembly comprises piston with compression and scraper rings in contact with cylinder sleeve working surface and grooves filled with nonferrous metal. Three lines of annular grooves are made on cylinder sleeve working surface. Medium line is turned through 90° relative to top and bottom lines. Distance from start of first groove to sleeve top edge equals 10±0.5 mm. Said grooves represent opposed closed isolated grooves with angle of elevation of 17 degrees to sleeve diametral plane and with spacing of 13 mm. Groove cross-section feature hill shape with depth and width equal to 1.5 mm. Maximum distance between adjacent grooves corresponds to distance between top compression ring and bottom scraper ring.
EFFECT: higher quality of operation and wear resistance.
