FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: clamp consists of boat 2, suspension 3 and wire clamping mechanism 1 in the form of L-shaped levers pressing wire 1 to chute 12 of boat 2. Suspension 3 is hinged to boat 25. Sizes of clamping elements are chosen from certain ratios. Boat 2 is made from non-magnetic alloy providing openness of a magnetic circuit of the clamp and reduction of losses for reversal of magnetisation. In a version of a clamp with overvoltage suppressor, boat 22 is provided with eye lug 24. In the clamp, as a rule, spiral protector 30 of aluminium or aluminated wires is mounted. The clamp included in a set of suspension of wires in a split phase has vertical bracket 31 with horizontal projections 32, and arms 33 with trunnions 34 engaged with cavities 35 on side surfaces 36 of boat 37. In trunnions 34 a provision is made for inserts 38 to prevent disconnection of brackets 31 from boat 2 at vertical drawing of wire 1.
EFFECT: clamp is reliable in operation, easy to produce and to install on overhead transmission lines and characterised by low prime cost and price.
