FIELD: power engineering; vibration damper clamps for conductors and ground wires of overhead power transmission lines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed clamp has body and die bolted together, conductor or ground wire being secured in their troughs as they are bolted. Inner surface of body trough is of variable curvature and different radii R1, R2, R3. Centers of these radii are disposed on horizontal axis of conductor and spaced apart through rated distance from vertical axis 16 of clamp; radii are found from following equations: R1 = (0.44-0.49)dw.min.; R2 = (0.5-0.53)dw.max.; R3 = (0.515)-0.575)dw.min., where dw.min. is minimal diameter of conductor or ground wire that can be secured by clamp; dw.max. is maximal diameter of conductor or ground wire that can be secured by clamp. Body may have hexahedral slot with clamping device bolt nut fixed flush with external surface of bolt.
EFFECT: ability of unifying vibration damper manufacturing process and reducing number of their type varieties.
