FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to phase differential protection of 110-220 kV power transmission lines with three-phase control of switches. The invention solves a problem of detection of a complicated type of damage: single-phase short circuit with simultaneous break of a wire. In order to solve a problem, additional units controlling an actual break and direction of power are used.
EFFECT: providing sensitivity of protection to single-phase short circuit with simultaneous phase loss.
