FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, the protection uses a module that blocks the protection half-sets when a power transformer magnetizing current surge is detected and ensures their selectivity when the measuring current transformers are saturated. The module includes three identical blocks for detecting magnetizing surge currents in phase currents.
EFFECT: ensuring the selectivity of high-frequency protection during surges of the magnetizing current of power transformers in the network.
