FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: media data with multiple images are generated by providing encoded media data which represent multiple media images of media content. Each of the media images is linked with a structural priority identifier which indicates the relationship of encoding media data relative media data of at least another media image. A content priority identifier is defined, preferably, for each media image. Unlike the structural priority identifier, the content priority identifier indicates the level of significance of rendering media data of the media image.
EFFECT: more efficient processing of media data with multiple images, for example, relative to selective deleting, rendering or applying protection of media data with multiple images.
