FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly ophthalmology, psychophysiology, and neurology. A pupil region is exposed to light stimuli of 671 nm, 546 nm and 435 nm separately, in sequence and in a proportional combination providing a white light exposure as well. The pupil reaction parameters are recorded.
EFFECT: method enables providing more reliable diagnosis that is ensured by determining a stimulus a wave length of which matches to a resonance frequency of the perception of rhodopsin pigment in cone cells.
