FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixing of whatever fluids in stationary tanks and can be used in food, chemical, biological, microbiological industries etc, as well as in research. Proposed mixer comprises helical rotor described by a curve rotation about fixed vertical axis. Said curve is composed by a branch of parabola described by the type of equation y=ax2+bx-c. Vanes are coiled on said rotor configured to surfaces of skewed variable-pitch helicoid shifted through identical radial angle γ relative to each other to make vane channel. Vanes are composed of diffuser flutes expanding from top to bottom and twisted through angle θ from 90 to 270 degrees. Besides, said vane is bent towards vane channel working area from its initial position defined as a perpendicular in helical rotor cross-section plane directed to tangent at crossing of rotor generatrix and curve of blade twisting to angle α equal to 45 degrees. Invention allows increased mass transfer in meridian plane along rotor rotational axis to intensify the mixing.

EFFECT: uniform distribution of mixed phase, higher quality of finished products, electric power savings per unit product.
