FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: emulsive foam material with high content of disperse phase is obtained by polymerising an emulsion with high content of disperse phase, which contains: a) an oil phase containing: i) a monomer; ii) a cross-linking agent; iii) an emulsifier; b) an aqueous phase; c) a photoinitiator; wherein the emulsion obtained from the merged aqueous and oil phases is moved to a heating zone, where monomers are polymerised and cross-link in neighbouring polymer backbone chains; after the heating zone, the foam material is moved to a UV radiation zone to obtain an emulsive foam material with high content of the disperse phase; where the emulsive foam material with high content of the disperse phase contains less than 400 ppm of the non-polymerised monomer. A version of the foam material is also disclosed.

EFFECT: low content of the non-polymerised monomer, processes of preparing the emulsion, polymerisation and reducing content of monomers will take less than 20 minutes.
