SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industry and concerns preparing a cake shelf fungus extract. The method for preparing the cake shelf fungus extract involving freezing cake shelf fungus, wetting it with a water solution containing dimethyl sulphoxide and sodium hydroxide, with a solution temperature being 50-90°C, and keeping at the above temperature for 1-2 hours.
EFFECT: method described above enables preparing the high-yield extract having high antioxidant activity.
