SUBSTANCE: radar stand comprises series-connected receiver, computer, pulse transmitter, antenna switch and antenna, wherein the second output of the antenna switch is connected to the input of the receiver, as well as a rotating device with a support, the measured object and a control panel, which is connected by the first, second and third outputs to the second input of the transmitter, the input of the rotating device and the second input of the computer, respectively, the computer also being connected by the third input to the output of the rotating device, and also having, on the underlying surface at the centre of the first zone of a Fresnel antenna, a reflecting device whose width is selected not less than the shorter axis of ellipse of the first zone of the Fresnel antenna, and the height is defined by the formula He=axH0/(a+R-Re), where a is the longer semi-axis of ellipse of the first zone of the Fresnel antenna, H0 is the height of position of the measured object over the underlying surface, R is the distance between the antenna and the measured object, Re is the distance between the antenna and the reflecting device; the support is also capable of moving in the vertical plane.
