FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: underground nuclear power complex includes inclined Y-wells. Lower part of wells converges in a bottomhole, where a central shaft is located and an artificial storage is formed, which attaches all the shafts between themselves. Shafts of all the wells are cased with steel pipes and radiation barriers. In one of the shafts there arranged are liquid radioactive wastes (LRW) or liquid radioactive fuel. In shafts there arranged are matrixes presenting devices for electric energy generation against interaction of LRW with an irradiated electron-hole junction formed with semiconductor materials in matrixes. Electric current is collected from matrixes through a transformer and then accumulated on an accumulator (ultracapacitor or batteries).
EFFECT: improving use efficiency of nuclear waste at reduction of surface area of a power complex; simplifying the complex structure.
