SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric setting device, in particular, a rotary switch or a rotary controller, in particular, a fixed potentiometer comprising a cover (2) and an actuator installed as capable of rotation, which during rotation around a rotation axis passing through the cover (2) causes process of switching or regulation, and also the first and second fixing elements (5, 6), which elastically interact with each other in direction of the axis of rotation, from which the first fixing element (5) is arranged on the actuator, and the second fixing element - on the cover (2). The first fixing element (5) is made in the form of ring-shaped arranged fixing grooves in the actuator, and the second fixing element - in the form of at least one springy tab (6c) with a fixing beak (7c) on the cover (2).

EFFECT: simple design and high functional reliability, long-term service life and audibility of flicks during rotation of an actuator.
