SUBSTANCE: screw-type actuating element includes a hub, a front part, blades, cutter holders and cutters. A cutter holder consists of a ball and a flat part, the base of which is placed in the ball slot. A surface for arrangement of the ball on the blade and the front part is made in the form of a semi-cylinder so that its centre is located on outer surface of the blade and the front part. Cutter holders on the end face of the front part are placed in holes the diametres of which coincide with the ball diametre and centres are located on outer surface of the end face of the front part.

EFFECT: simpler erection works at assembly of a screw; avoiding additional parts for arrangement of cutter holders on the blade and the front part; the proposed design solution allows easy adjustment of setting angles of cutters for an optimum cutting mode.
