FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: hemoglobin concentration, leukocyte count in 1 mm3, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase activities, blood plasma total cholesterol and PQ interval, QRS complex and QT interval lengths are determined. That is followed by determining stratification intervals of the examined values. A likelihood ratio is found in the intervals for each value. A probability of apparent heart failure is determined as a percentage by summing up the derived likelihood ratios.
EFFECT: invention enables calculating the probability of apparent heart failure in each patient suffering myocardial infarction, simplifies the trial of medical therapy aiming at the prevention and treatment, and controls of the effectiveness.
