FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and may find application in manufacturing of gas separator. Gas separator includes a housing, input tube for unpurified gas, output tube for purified gas, union for pumping of liquid separated from gas and separating elements. Separating elements are made as a labyrinth of gates of different height with lower open areas and placement of long gates below water level in the separator, and each short gate is placed close to the nearest long gate in direction of gas flow. At gate labyrinth output there is an inertial drop catcher made in the form of plates place at variable angles towards gas flow. The separator is equipped additionally with a section isolated from total volume of the separator by hydraulic lock and metal vertical net. The output tube for purified gas is placed in housing of the isolated section. while the input tube for unpurified gas is connected to the gate labyrinth.

EFFECT: increasing treatment degree of associated gas from liquid.
