SEPARATION UNIT WITH IN-BUILT GAS SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC B01D19/00 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: at the separation unit with in-built gas separator there is a device for input of liquid-gas mixture, which is made as a vertical cylinder-shaped hood equipped with a tube with a tangential nozzle for liquid-gas mixture and a pipeline feeding separated gas to the bottom section of the gas separator. The gas separator is in-built to the separation unit with the protruding upper and submerged lower part; it consists of two coaxial pipes, at that the inner pipe is a gas discharge pipe placed at a certain distance from the flat bottom of the gas separator. The separated liquid drain tube is made as hydraulic seal and connected by the liquid drain pipeline to a chamber formed between surfaces of the body and external coaxial pipe, in the upper part of outer coaxial pipe there is a slotted twister, which is fixed coaxially with the body and is made as a bended notch with even bending inwards the pipeline.

EFFECT: improving separation degree of gas-droplet liquid due to simplification of design for the unit and flow energiser.
