FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for separation of inhomogeneous gas-liquid systems of "mist" type into gas and liquid phase and can be used in oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, food and other industries for separation of gas-liquid mixtures. Vertical separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing, nonuniform system inlet fitting, gas phase output fitting, liquid phase output fitting and separation elements. Separation elements represent packs of regular multi-layer nozzle made of corrugated permeable plates. Packs of plates form in vertical cylindrical housing the wall consisting of at least two sections conjugated with vertical cylindrical housing of the reservoir and horizontal segment partitions. In lower part of vertical cylindrical body there is section for collecting liquid extracted from gas connected by overflow pipes with horizontal segment partitions.
EFFECT: reducing metal consumption of the separator, higher quality of nonuniform system separation.
