FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening rocks and construction materials, crushing and sorting jobs, and screen sizing of construction materials. Screen comprises screening surface, drive, loader and unloader. Screening surface is arranged at the bed, equipped with vibrator and shaped to toroid with polygonal perforated helical surface over inner and outer edges. The latter are made up of bands flexed in one side along straight creases inclined to band edges and coiled to form, over band length, the different-side equilateral and isosceles perforated triangles. Bases of two identical isosceles triangles are located on both sides of the largest equilateral perforated triangle, lateral sides of said two identical isosceles triangles being located on both sides of perforated equilateral triangles with adjoining lateral sides of two identical isosceles perforated triangles, equilateral perforated triangle being attached to one of them. Sides of smaller equilateral perforated triangles differ from those of larger equilateral perforated triangles by linear magnitude delta. After coiling the band, band edges of lines magnitude smaller by four deltas than the side of largest equilateral triangle are interconnected to make subsections. Said subsections have square-like opening on their one side, opening side being smaller than that of the largest equilateral triangle by delta. On opposite side, they have opening shaped to isosceles trapezium with larger base equal to side of the largest equilateral triangle and smaller base smaller than larger base by two deltas. Aforesaid subsections are connected by trapezium-shape openings to make square-like sections with inlets and outlets, square sides being equal and openings being arranged at angle α its magnitude defining screening surface toroid diameter. Said sections are connected to make screening surface without relative turn to make opposed zigzag helical lines and helical perforated surfaces over inner and outer surfaces of toroidal screening surface.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances, decreased overall dimensions.
