FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method of gas compression and drying of compressed gas and compressor plant with drier. Drier for compressed gas has drying area and regenerating area and contains in its body a drum with drying agent moving sequentially through the drying and regenerating areas. At that the regenerating area consists of the first part having the first inlet fitting to deliver the first stream of regeneration gas and the second part having the second inlet fitting to deliver the second stream of regeneration gas, which relative humidity is lower than relative humidity of the first stream of regeneration gas. Outlet fitting of the drying area is connected to the second inlet fitting of the second part of the regenerating area by means of connecting line.
EFFECT: invention allows improving operational performance of the drier.
