FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: drier comprises a housing with drying zone and regeneration zone comprising a first and a second sub-zones, and a drum mounted for rotation in the housing, with regenerated drying agent located therein, the drying zone has a first inlet for supplying the heated compressed gas to be dried and a first outlet for discharging the dried gas, the first sub-zone of the regeneration zone has a first inlet for the first regeneration flow, the second sub-zone of the regeneration zone has a second inlet for the second regeneration flow and the regeneration zone has a second outlet for regeneration flows from the first and second sub-zones. The drier also has a connecting pipeline with built-in cooler and a condensate separator which connects the second outlet of the regeneration zone to the first inlet of the drying zone, and an outlet pipe which first end is connected to the first outlet of the drying zone and the other end is connected to the second inlet of the second sub-zone. The dryer is configured so that the entire gas flow to be dried is first directed through the regeneration zone before passing through the drying zone, for this purpose there is a blower built in the connecting pipeline for forced movement of the second regeneration flow from the drying zone through the outlet pipeline into the second sub-zone.
EFFECT: invention provides highly efficient gas drying, elimination of dew point peaks when starting the system.
