FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural biotechnology processing of wastes of beet production and can be used for preparing feedstuff for animals. The method of conservation of beet pulp comprises applying to the beet pulp a liquid form of the biological product, comprising the strain Bacillus subtilis 111, deposited in the Russian State Collection of strains of microorganisms under registration number strain of Bacillus subtilis 05.11.38. DEP and stored in the collection of microorganisms of LLC "Biotrof", at a concentration of 1 litre per 80 tons of initial beet pulp with a moisture content of 70 to 80 %. The beet pulp is placed for conservation. Then the beet pulp layer is tamped to a density of 800 to 1000 kg/m3. After one day it is sealed and incubated for 4-6 weeks, at that the daily reduction of temperature in the conservation mass is controlled at 1°C. Embodiment of the invention enables to improve the biological and technological processes of conservation of beet pulp, namely enables to carry out conservation with economical consumption of the biological product and using only one strain of bacteria.

EFFECT: feeding the pulp enables to improve performance data of cows while simultaneous reducing feed costs.
