FIELD: articles of personal use.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is aimed at design of glasses with snap bridge, enabling adjustment by both major axes of user's head, so that the glasses could be used by wider population since according to the invention, glasses include a lens pair, pair of telescopic connectors attached to respective internal edges of lenses, pair of ear pieces connected by joints to respective external edges of lenses, and rigid band between rear ends of ear pieces. The band is generally U-shaped, formed by parallel straight sections connected to an arch base enveloping user's nape where glasses are worn, and features rear ends of ear pieces. U-shaped band features a telescopic bridge for arbitrary modification of arch base length and distance between parallel straight sections of the band to adjust the band according to different user head widths. Internal edges of lenses are interconnected with a split by connectors. When used, lenses are detached from each other and turned outwards, and band adjusted to the head size envelops user's nape. Then lenses are turned towards each other and locked against user's eyes.
EFFECT: lenses can be detached instantly, ensuring easy putting glasses on or off, and can be connected instantly, ensuring reliable and accurate positioning.
