FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering construction, namely, to hydraulic engineering structures, and may be used for fixation of underwater slopes, river and water reservoir shores, boards of canals, repair of ravines, and also as a weighing material of pipelines and their protection when installed via areas of water. The concrete mat comprises concrete blocks joined to each other with an embedded rope, the lower part of which is made in the form of a truncated pyramid with a common large rectangular base and with a smaller top. The upper part of concrete blocks is made in the form of a ball layer with a common large base and with a smaller top truncated with at least one inclined plane, stretching via a pyramid rib.
EFFECT: using the invention makes it possible to increase the period of operation of a protective mat.
