SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of organic chemistry, namely to novel biologically active substances of type of 4-aryl-2-hydroxy-4-oxo-2-butenoates of heteryl ammonium, namely to 2-hydroxy-4-methylphenyl-4-oxo-2-butenoate of thiazolinyl ammonium of formula (1).
EFFECT: 2-hydroxy-4-methylphenyl-4-oxo-2-butenoate of thiazolinyl ammonium, which possesses high hypoglycemic and nootropic activity.
