FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining polyphosphoric acid and device for its realization. Claimed method includes: burning fuel in air with obtaining flame and gaseous combustion products; dispersion of pulverisation flowing medium, which contains orthophosphoric acid; polymerisation-condensation of orthophosphoric acid with obtaining acid fog and gases, which are mixed with gaseous combustion products to obtain certain temperature, with said mixing resulting in sharp decrease of temperature of gaseous combustion products; separation of fog of polyphosphoric acid and gaseous mixture; collection of polyphosphoric acid into reservoir under combustion chamber, discharge of gaseous mixture from bottom part of combustion chamber separately from polyphosphoric acid. Claimed device contains combustion chamber, in upper part of which located are: burner, first inlet for fuel and second inlet for air, source of supply of pulverisation flowing medium, made with possibility of its supply at the level of said burner, means, making it possible to separate polyphosphoric acid and gaseous mixture, output of polyphosphoric acid and outlet of gaseous mixture.
EFFECT: claimed is novel efficient method of obtaining polyphosphoric acid, application of which makes it possible to reduce energy consumption, prolong service term of equipment and reduce harmful emissions.
