FIELD: physics, optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre optics and can be used in designing fibre-optic gyroscopes and other interferometric physical quantity sensors using single-mode light guides. High accuracy of the fibre-optic gyroscope is achieved by improving stability of the scaling factor. Stability of the scaling factor is achieved by setting up a second feedback loop which increases control speed to achieve stability thereof when the fibre-optic gyroscope is exposed to external destabilising factors.

EFFECT: high accuracy of fibre-optic gyroscopes.
