FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power stations, particularly, fluid pumps. Proposed pump comprises groove seal. Seal comprises floating ring 3 secured in pump housing 2 with the help of cover 4. Cover 4 presses said ring 3 to housing 2 with force sufficient to squeeze seal rings 6 fitted in grooves of face surfaces of ring 3 to create friction force hot exceeding hydrodynamic force of groove seal at pump operation. Cover 4 has the bores to create damping effect at abrupt shifts of ring 3.
EFFECT: ease of assembly, higher efficiency and reliability, longer life.
