SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanostructures. The carbide-containing nanostructure is obtained by precipitation on the substrate of nanolayer of metal or nonmetal, or their oxides, and subsequent carbidisation by processing in carbon monoxide gas in the presence of coal or soot at a temperature of 1400-1500°C.

EFFECT: production of the carbide nanofilament or nanofilm is provided.
