GAS ANALYSER Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01N21/00

Abstract RU 2513660 C1

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: gas analyser relates to measurement equipment, namely, to optical infrared gas analysers, and may be used for continuous control of pre-explosive concentrations of hydrocarbon vapours, oil processing products, etc. In the gas analyser the fixation and sealing of the protective jacket in the body of the gas analyser are made by a compressing method with the help of a captive nut and a sealing rubber ring A, positioning of the protective jacket with ventilation holes with a fixed optical measuring converter with an inbuilt flash memory when installing into slot sockets is carried out by matching the guide pin on the board of the slot and the groove in the bushing with the groove pressed into the protective jacket with ventilation holes. The optical measuring converter with the inbuilt flash memory is fixed inside the bushing with a groove with the help of a spring fixator and is sealed with a sealing rubber ring B. Fixation and sealing of the filter frame are carried out with the help of a sealing rubber ring C with the possibility of quick extraction of filter frame. In the filter frame there is a volume filter from twisted steel wire, arranged upstream the hydrophobic membrane filter. The body of the gas analyser, the captive nut and the bushing with a groove are made of plastic with low heat capacity, and the protective jacket with ventilation holes, the filter frame and the volume filter from the twisted steel wire are made of metal with high heat capacity.

EFFECT: development of a gas analyser of quick-detachable design, with increased stability of its operation under unfavourable external conditions, preventing the possibility of quick extraction of an optical measuring converter from a body of a gas analyser for periodical inspection, repair or replacement, and also, when required, to extract and clean the filter in place of operation.
