FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosion-proof gas analyzers and can be used to measure the concentration of gases that are present in the environment. Sensor includes the housing (1) with the removable cover (2). Housing (1) houses the optical unit (4) with the main source (5) of infrared radiation and the receiver (7) of infrared radiation, the unit (8) of electronics with cable leads, which is connected to the optical unit (5). Housing (1) with the cover (2) is provided with the through inlet (9) with the fire absorber (11) for access of the analyzed gas to the optical unit (4). At the same time, the optical unit (4) is located in the protective casing (3), and the electronic unit (8) is fixed on the casing (3) from its outer side. Housing (1) is provided with at least one additional opening (10), which is closed by the fire absorber (12). In the casing (3) there is at least one opening (13) for the access of the analyzed gas to the optical unit (4). Space between the housing (1) and the casing (3) is filled with an explosion-proof material (18) with the formation of at least one channel connecting the holes (9, 10, 13) in the housing (1) and in the casing (3), as well as the cavity (21) to accommodate cable outputs from the electronics unit (8).

EFFECT: improved sensor performance while maintaining its resistance to shock loads, as well as ensuring that the sensor can be reused after its operation without additional maintenance.
