FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmomicrosurgery. An artificial iris comprises a disk-shaped haptic portion. An end surface of the haptic portion comprises three arched support elements with their inner surface being congruent to the end surface. Each arched element comprises a through slot presented in the form of two arches attached together. Opposite angles of the both arches are acute with each arched element is provided with an insertion hole.
EFFECT: using the given invention enables reducing intraoperative and postoperative complications, enables reducing operation length.
