FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for eliminating dentofacial tissue defects of various aetiology. An individual nasal exoprosthesis is made by modelling a facial mask, modelling a wax portion of the face and installing holding fixtures. A three-dimensional computer model of a missing nose and digital processing are performed on the basis of three-dimensional scanning of the patient's face defect and the close relative's face. A plastic prototype of the nasal exoprosthesis is milled on a digitally program-operated machine, doubled and cast of silicone including the individual characteristics of the patient's skin.
EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness ensured by making the nasal exoprosthesis, making it closely similar including the individual characteristics of the patient's skin, providing a possibility to reproduce patient's facial gestures, and reducing the psycho-emotional load on the patient.
