FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and may be used for electric arc ignition of a steam-oil nozzle and stabilisation of flame of burners of different furnace devices that burn different types of fuel. The method of electric arc ignition of a steam-oil nozzle consists in supply of the steam and oil mixture from the nozzle into the furnace of the boiler and supply of high voltage to rod electrodes of an electric-arc lighter, generation of the electric-arc discharge on them and its contact with a jet of the steam-oil mixture and its ignition, the nozzle is blown with steam to the furnace of the boiler, and rod electrodes are moved to the point, where the electric arc discharge crosses with the jet of steam from the nozzle, and the electric-arc discharge is stretched for length, voltage increases, as well as, accordingly, capacity, in this point they install rod electrodes, afterwards from the nozzle to the furnace of the boiler they supply the steam-oil mixture, which, when in contact with the stretched electric-arc discharge ignites.
EFFECT: invention provides for quick and reliable ignition of a steam-oil nozzle in a boiler furnace, which reduces consumption of oil, and also eliminates preliminary wear and burning of working contacts of rod electrodes.
