SUBSTANCE: feed material (34) to be used in digital extrusion system (10) features length (36) and cross-section profile (38) of at least an axially symmetric portion of length (36). Said profile (38) is configured to ensure reaction interval with the help of untrue liquefier (48) of system (10) shorter, compared with cylindrical filament in cylindrical liquefier for the same thermally constricted volumetric fluid flow rate. Method of constructing 3D model in digital extrusion system (10) comprises the steps that follow. Feed material is fed into untrue liquefier to fuse it. Fused feed material is extruded in ply-by-ply manner to form at least a section of 3D model.
EFFECT: lower heat conductivity at the inlet of untrue liquefier.
