FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to injection needle for injection of medication into human or animal body. Injection needle contains tubular body, which has longitudinal axis and tissue-penetrating end, which consists of main face, beveled towards longitudinal axis, secondary face, located opposite to main face, and tip, on which main face and secondary face intersect. Tip has single linear cutting edge, beveled towards longitudinal axis, which is extended to both sides from middle plane of main face, passing through longitudinal axis. Secondary face forms first angle with longitudinal axis, which is smaller than 10 degrees. Main face and secondary face form secondary angle between each other, which is in the range from 15 to 30 degrees.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to introduce needle in axial direction with reduced risk of its bending, as well as ensures easy penetration of needle into tissue without causing pain to patient.
