FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: use: for investigation of biological and natural samples. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that they use a disposable portable diagnostic instrument and an appropriate system and method, in which a biological and (or) natural investigated sample is put into a reaction with reagents. The diagnostic instrument serves to investigate the sample and has a sensor for registration of test data. The diagnostic instrument is coupled with an electronic device and sends test data to it. The processor of the electronic device applies algorithms to test data with the purpose to generate highly sensitive and accurate quantitative test results. The element of representation of the electronic device provides test results to the user. The diagnostic instrument is designed for removal or sterilisation and repeated use after acceptance of test data by the electronic device. An electronic device may be, for instance, a mobile communication device, a personal digital assistant, a portable computer, a navigation device, a digital audio player, a camera or a playing device.

EFFECT: reduced number of complex functions or requirements, provision of quality, level of results and (or) services.
