FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: in performing the method of the automated analysis of a plurality of specimens, an automated device is provided, made with the possibility to receive and process a plurality of samples from said plurality of specimens to determine one or more predetermined analytes according to one or more corresponding analytical technological processes. The plurality of specimens to be examined is provided. The plurality of specimens is processed to obtain a corresponding plurality of samples. The first portion of each sample from the plurality of samples to be examined is automatically transferred to the corresponding plurality of first vessels containing the reagents for the first test to determine the first specified analyte. The automatic first test is performed on part of said plurality of samples to determine the presence of the first specified analyte according to the first analytical technological process. The subset of samples of the plurality of samples are selected, in which the presence of the first specified analyte was determined. The second part of the subset of previously selected samples is automatically transferred to the second vessel containing the reagents for the second test to determine the presence of the second specified analyte according to the second analytical technological process. The second test is automatically performed on the second part of the selected subset of the samples. The system for performing the automated analysis of the plurality of samples from the corresponding plurality of samples comprises an automated device comprising a plurality of test strips, a processor, a storage of informative capacity, and a program for performing the automated analysis.
