FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of disperse materials to be used at ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy plants. Pelletiser comprises hollow cylinder, inclined plate arranged inside said cylinder and secured at stationary bearing beam, and inlet and outlet chutes. Inclined plate is composed of belt conveyor mounted at stationary bearing beam to displace radially parallel with cylinder axis. pins of drive rollers and lower support rollers of endless conveyor belt are arranged at equal pitch in circle of radius equal to 0.65…0.7 of cylinder inner radius resting on angle of 120…140 degrees. Besides, pelletiser can be equipped with two belt conveyors mounted one above the other. Note here that top conveyor is arranged to vary inclination of upper run of endless belt, its speed and direction. Raising and sliding disperse material plies allow a sufficient compaction of material in the gap between hollow cylinder inner surface and lower run on endless belt at material conveying. Application of two conveyors allows the conditions for pellet growth approximating to optimum.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, better quality of pellets.
