DEVICE AND METHOD TO PRODUCE GAS HYDROGEN-OXYGEN FUEL FROM WATER (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C25B1/04

Abstract RU 2515884 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for production of gas hydrogen-oxygen fuel from water by means of electrolysis comprising a cell with two electrodes and a source of power supply, electrodes are made in the form of two, external and internal cylinders, with a common axis of symmetry, the external cylinder is combined with a jacket of water cooling of the cell and is grounded, and the internal cylinder is made in the form of a sleeve with side walls and a solid bottom, is fixed on an insulator inside the body of the cell and comprises an inlet hole matched with a hole in the cell body for supply of distilled water, the outlet nozzle of the cell is arranged axisymmetrically relative to cylindrical electrodes beyond the solid bottom of the inner cylindrical electrode and is equipped with a jacket of water cooling, and a high-frequency source of power supply is connected via the first high-frequency capacitor with a resonant high-frequency Tesla transformer with output voltage 1-500 kV, with frequency of 0.5-100 kHz, a high-voltage output of which via a high-voltage diode is connected with the internal cylindrical electrode and with one lining of the second high-frequency capacitor, the other lining of the capacitor is connected to the external cylindrical electrode. In the method to produce gas hydrogen-oxygen fuel by water electrolysis during supply of electric energy from the source of power supply to electrodes inside the electrolysis reactor they supply from a high-voltage source of power supply via a high-voltage resonant high-frequency Tesla transformer and a high-voltage diode the electrostatic packets of high-voltage high-frequency pulses of single polarity with output voltage of 1-500 kV, frequency of 0.5-100 kHz, the amplitude of which continuously increases for gradual weakening of intermolecular links of hydrogen with OH group and oxygen in distilled water, and when there is ion current between electrodes, the amplitude of high-voltage high-frequency pulses is reduced until there is no ion current between electrodes, and the process of increasing amplitude of high-voltage high-frequency pulses is repeated, and porosity of supplying a packet of high-voltage pulses is selected based on the condition of limitation and blocking of ion current between electrodes of the cell. In the version of the method to produce gas hydrogen-oxygen fuel by water electrolysis during supply of electric energy from a source of power supply to electrodes inside the electrolysis reactor a high-frequency source of power supply is connected with a resonant high-frequency Tesla transformer with output voltage of 1-500 kV, frequency of 0.5-100 kHz, the high-voltage output of the Tesla transformer is connected via the high-frequency high-voltage diode with the high-frequency electric capacitor and with the insulated electrode of the cell, the cell and the second electrode are grounded, and they select by means of regulation of frequency, voltage and value of electric capacitance of the capacitor the porosity of packets of high-voltage pulses via distilled water and electrodes of the electrolysis reactor electrodes, and they block appearance and increase of the ion current between electrodes of the cell.

EFFECT: development of a device making it possible to produce gas fuel from water in the form of a hydrogen-oxygen mixture with reduction of power inputs.
