FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering. Proposed engine comprises housing, rotor with cylindrical ledge, fuel atomiser, high-pressure air compressor and recuperative heat exchanger for air heating downstream of compressor with off-gas heat. Rotor is fitted in end covers. Rotor cylindrical ledge is composed of shaped cam. Frame composed of two guide plates and top cover is fitted in housing groove. Radial vane is arranged inside said guide plates. Spring-loaded piston and two-spring thrusts are arranged some 0.2…0.5 mm from vane top end at top cover. Spring-loaded is engaged with vane. Groves for rotor air seal are made in vane proper and guide plates as well as in end cover and housing. Engine incorporates two heat-isolated intermittent-combustion chambers. Every chamber houses intake and discharge valves, fuel atomiser with air drive and piston to vary the chamber geometrical volume. Two receivers are arranged in air feed line from compressor to engine. One receiver with built-in electric heater is arranged downstream of heat exchanger and connected to combustion chambers. Second receiver is arranged upstream of recuperative heat exchanger. Pneumatic system composed by pressure control valves, receivers and solenoid valves is connected to compressed air feed line downstream of second receiver.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer life.
